Land
We own the Loch frontage which you are welcome to use
(including free bank fishing) - there is a rough pathway
along the shoreline but you can walk anywhere in the area.

Our land extends for more than a third of a mile, from the side of the
cottage at the bottom of the drive, back to the open area by the Lochside
where there is a blue bar fence blocking off the old road to Skye.

 Internet

We have broadband internet connection through the telephone line, this is made available in the cottages through a wireless network.  As the telphone line is not dependable, we do not advertise the availibility of an internet connection to guests, nor do we charge for this.  This means that if you can get a wireless signal and make a connection you are welcome to use it.

Telephone

We do not have a public telephone.  Most mobiles will work if you stand in the outer courtyard by the wooden fence.

 Dogs

Dogs are welcome at Ardochy House Cottages.

The Grieve's House has an enclosed lawned garden

and the Shepherd's Cottage has a gravelled courtyard.

We ask that you pooper scoop if they "go" in the courtyard or the car park.

Please be aware that we have sheep in the fields.  If you want to walk

your dog across the fields, we ask that you keep it on a lead.

Dogs might occasionally pick up a tick from the sheep in the bracken.

The land by the Loch is sheep-free so an opportunity there for the dogs to

walk free and swim in the water.

Please don't leave your pet alone in your cottage for any length of time.
