Quoted prices include electricity, hot water and timed central heating in season. A starter pack of logs and coal is included for the wood burning fires.
Bed linen included but not towels. In each cottage there is a selection of books, games, DVD films and CD’s, and the basic SKY freeview TV package.
There is a broadband internet connection through the telephone line, and this is made available in the cottages through a wireless network. As the telephone line is not dependable, we do not advertise the availability of an internet connection to guests nor do we charge for that service. This means if you can get a wireless signal and make a connection to the internet then you are welcome to use it.
We do not have a public telephone. Most mobiles phones will work if you stand in the outer courtyard by the wooden fence.
We can provide free of charge a cot (with bedding if required or bring your own) and high chair for our youngest guests. Please mention at time of booking if you would like us to provide a cot. There are also fire guards for each of the cottages’ fires. The Grieve’s House and the Keeper’s Cottage have flagstone floors
Dogs are welcome at Ardochy House Cottages. The Grieve’s House has an enclosed lawn garden and the Shepherd’s Cottage has a gravelled courtyard. Please pooper scoop if they "go" in the courtyard or the car park.
Please be aware that we have sheep in the fields. If you want to walk your dog across the fields, we ask that you keep it on a lead. Dogs might occasionally pick up a tick from the sheep or the bracken. The land by the Loch is sheep-free so your dog is able to walk free and swim in the water. Please don’t leave your pet alone in your cottage for any length of time.
This accommodation consists of three self-catering cottages, the owner’s house and barn set around a cobbled courtyard, with stunning views over Loch Garry and the mountains beyond.
