This large cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, a double and twin bedroom upstairs and a twin bedroom downstairs. This is a favourite cottage with walking and fishing parties and larger families. The Keeper's Cottage has the feel of a traditional cottage and retains many of the features of the old shooting lodge. This cottage is themed with some of the equipment and artefacts which a gamekeeper would have around.There is also a collection of (empty) whisky bottles that you are welcome to add to!
The large "L" shaped sitting room has a modern multi-fuel stove, SKY freeview television with DVD player and a CD player, and ipod dock. The dining area is off the sitting room with a large table and the stairs lead up from here.
The kitchen, while retaining the original pine walls and open shelving, is fully equipped with modern electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. It is also supplied with a full range of equipment, utensils and crockery. The kitchen has views over the courtyard and the mountains beyond.
The downstairs bedroom has twin beds. Next to it is a separate shower room with WC.
Upstairs there is a large double-bedded room with view over the Loch and also off the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom with bath with a shower over.
The third bedroom is a twin-bedded room with en-suite shower room. This bedroom also has views over the courtyard to the Loch and mountains.
Outdoor furniture is located in the main courtyard, for the sole use of this cottage.
